DENS-Glasses is a remote electrode intended for stimulating the zone around the eyes (periorbital area) in conjunction with universal dynamic electroneurostimulating instruments. It is used as an alternative to the built-in electrodes of universal devices and allows one-time stimulation of the biologically active zone around the eyes and the temporal region. The application of DENS-Glasses reduces procedure time and effort and, most importantly, it significantly increases the effectiveness of the electrical stimulation of the periorbital area.
DENS-Glasses are made of innovative, hypo-allergenic elastic material with a conductive filler.
Application
The universal design of DENS-Glasses facilitates their use by individuals with different face types and eye shapes.
- Visual fatigue
- Nearsightedness, farsightedness
- Glaucoma
- Inflammatory diseases of the eye and retinal dystrophy
- Optic nerve atrophy
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
Electrical stimulation of the area around the eyes with the aid of the DENS device and the DENS-Glasses electrode yields substantially effective results in the management of various existing problems or disorders: relief of internal eye muscle stress (spasm of accommodation) and improvement of visual acuity, improvement of microcirculation, restoration and/or improvement of the optic nerve function, stabilisation of intraocular pressure, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
There are contraindications for use. To ensure that procedures utilising remote electrodes are carried out correctly and that an ideal combination with other treatment methods is determined, it is necessary to familiarise with the instructions for use or to consult a specialist.
